if combine the qt and scol,
the code can be more easy to move another platform.

Yes, it's a good idea.
However, please consider it :
- The Scol linux version is based from GTK+ (1.2)
- i begin a Scol GTK+ 2/3.0 version, to MS Windows and (update) GNU / Linux.

This question stay open.
